Women's circles
What is a Women's Circle?
A women’s circle is an evening or afternoon where women come together around a certain theme. This could be self-love, living from your intuition, or stepping into your power. In a women’s circle, vulnerable and personal stories are often shared quickly because you realize you’re not alone in your experiences. As women, we struggle with similar themes, without us knowing, and sharing those struggles can be truly healing. You don’t need to have any spiritual experience to join a women’s circle. Often, it’s the very beginning of your own journey. A women’s circle not only connects you to yourself but also to womens, all at your own pace and in a way that feels right for you. There’s no pressure to share anything you’re not comfortable with during a women circle.
Why Join a Women’s Circle?
Life can be really hectic. We’re bombarded with endless stimuli throughout the day, making it easier to lose touch with our bodies, ourselves and our vulnerability. By connecting with other women and creating space for your suppressed emotions, you can find inner calmness and release a part of the things you're struggling with - something that is so desperately needed in today’s society. In a women’s circle, there is space for you and what you need. It’s a chance to truly feel again, without first considering the expectations or judgment of others - it's a judgmental free place. You're free to share your story and be vulnerable. A sacred space to truly be yourself and where you are seen.
Is a Women’s Circle for me?
If you’re curious about a women’s circle or feel drawn to it but find it a bit scary, I really encourage you to give it a try. Many women attend a circle on their own, and I promise you that you will feel so welcome and safe as soon as you step inside the space. It’s a safe space where you can be completely yourself and reconnect with your own strength. I highly recommend experiencing a women’s circle at least once in your life! You’ll gain so much from it.
My circles always have a theme, which varies each time, though self-love is often central. Being kind to others comes naturally for most of us, but being kind to ourselves can be more challenging. During an evening or afternoon, we work with exercises, journaling prompts, meditations, and we share cacao. Curious about how my first women’s circle went? You can read about it here.
The History of Women’s Circles

Women would gather to connect with one another in these powerful, healing rituals, which often included cooking, dancing, and praying.
